13 years ago today, Justin and I were in Florida. He had never seen the ocean, so we left the house my family was renting and made our way through 2 hours of traffic to Flagler beach. It was a thousand degrees and the car kept overheating, so we drove with the heater blasting. What a drive..... When we FINALLY arrived at the ocean, I bolted for the sand. He was behind me, talking, and I wondered what was taking so long. Come on already!!! LETS GO! When I turned around, he was on his knee, holding a diamond ring. :)
