13 years ago today, Lynn and I were running the redemption center in Blue Hill. We would be closing around 5 p.m. and go home for supper and probably some TV on our new satellite dish and be greeted by a couple of cats (one of which is still with us). GWB was President, we werent deep in debt and things were pretty nice. I couldnt even tell you what were any major stories on the news. The next day it would all change. Nothing would be the same. Our world would be turned upside down and it still is nowhere near normal. We lost more than a building and 3794 victims that day. We lost a lot of our innocence. Are we safer today? Are we wiser? You have your beliefs, I have mine and together well make it. Our President will go on TV tonight to talk about a new threat to our country and the rest of the world. I dont know what hell say, I just know I have to keep praying for him, our country, me and you.
