13 years ago today one of the greatest musical artists of all-time, George Harrison, passed away from cancer. His legacy is monumental, unforgettable and, in my opinion, in some ways appreciation for just how critical he was to The Beatles unprecedented success is actually still growing. On his final album, released posthumously, he had a great song (that his son Dhani plays on) called Stuck Inside A Cloud where he simply but profoundly describes in the lyrics some of what its like to fight a serious cancer diagnosis. The guitar intro is unmistakably classic Harrison- melodic, soulful and given the context and the subject matter the weeping of his guitar gives this song an extra emotional feel. For fans of George and/or The Beatles, that were not familiar with this late career work this song is DEFINITELY worth a listen. A poignant swan song from a TRUE LEGEND.
