14 more days to go before the Quiogue clan Reunion and I hope to see as many “kamag-anak” as possible. The purpose of this reunion is to reunite and meet relatives and keep the clan together regardless of ones social or economic status. As long as you have a Quiogue blood you are welcome. According to the late Tiyo Tomas T. Quiogue, this reunion started in the mid 1800s headed by Dona Tarcilla Quiogue - de Borja and some relatives residing in Pateros. Their purpose then was to remember their grandfather Lorenzo Quiogue, the very first Quiogue. Efforts are made by the “Samahan ng Angkang Quiogue” to make this possible. A simple celebration but with a Great intention!!! For the elders, perhaps this is a venue for you to inspire the youth of Quiogue clan on how to live a Just and Fruitful life. For the youth, maybe getting to know other relatives and gaining wisdom from the elders are the things that you can gain from attending this reunion. We, the “Samahan” are praying for the success of this event.
