14 years ago today I was laid up in the hospital with diminished vision in my left eye, no motor function in my left arm & dragging my left leg, after receiving what I thought & felt was the most devastating news of my life.....that I had Multiple Sclerosis! I celebrate this anniversary not only because it changed my life; but as a reminder that NOTHING is too big for my God! Yes, Ive had many bad days/weeks/months....but the good outweigh those by far!! Since then Ive seen my daughter graduate from high school & college; returned to nursing school, met/married/walked down the aisle to my best friend & biggest supporter Calvert Ford! Im blessed with the ability to still work full time without assistive devices & enjoy every aspect of life I feared I wouldnt, on the dreadful day 14 yrs ago! Yes - I have a hidden disability; but a visible capability! Praise God!
