1400 years ago, when Khilaafat (Kingship in Islam) turned into Inheritance in Syria when Yazeed assumed power from his father, Hazrat Imam Hussain (r.a) turned his sword against it. He marched from the Arab land towards Syria to put an end to this unjust transfer of power based on birth than merit... Now when the same Kingship turns into Inheritance in the same Syria, when Bashar Al Assad assumes power from his father, a Jihad (revolt) against such brutal family dictatorship becomes as much mandatory as 1400 years ago....
