€15.8 million for Kerry Roads I welcome the announcement by the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, Pascal Donohoe TD that €15,777,651 million euro has been allocated to Kerry County Council through the €184.8 million 2015 National Roads Authority (NRA) allocations to local authorities. (€165.2 million for improvement works and €19.6 million for maintenance.) The 2015 national road allocations of almost €16 million to Kerry County Council will be used for improvement and maintenance works on the existing network in conjunction with the progression of projects. Both of these projects will be funded through the Pavement and minor works grant. €1 and €2 million is allocated to the Castleisland and Tralee By-Passes respectively. The Tralee to Dingle Road will receive investment of €1.35 million and the Listowel by pass has been allocated €150k for major scheme works. The N71 Realagh Realignment is to receive €1,200,000.
