15 interesting or not-so interesting facts about me: (Im late putting my list together) 1. Im the baby of my family, married to the baby of his family, and have the baby of babies (Jonah) among grandchildren on both sides of our family. 2. I like odd numbers far better than even numbers and my alarm clock verifies this quirk. 3. I love to sing-- especially at the piano. 4. I planned my second pregnancy so that my boys age difference would be the same as that of my sister and me. It worked out perfectly for us. Also, I planned to have a baby in May so I wouldnt have to miss school. (Amazing that all that planning worked out...) 5. I used to have far too high an opinion of myself. The older I get, the more I realize that I am blessed-- incredibly blessed-- undeservingly-- and not so awesome. 6. I play the trumpet-- not very often or well since having children-- but I can still do it! 7. I taught piano lessons starting at age 15 and continued until I got a job teaching math. 8. I ran my first 5k at age 30 -- 3 and a half months after having my second child. I truly enjoy running. When I played basketball in high school, I hated running. 9. I havent done much reading for pleasure since high school. And some in the summers during undergrad. It always seems Ive had a textbook of some kind looming over me demanding my time. Now that Im finished with classes (for now), I havent picked it back up... I still intend to. 10. I had blonde hair for several years. :) 11. For a period of time when i was younger, I abused the tanning bed. I regret that. 12. I always looked up to my sister, Bethany Bliffen Lockard a great deal. I still do. 13. I had my first BIG crush on Matt Moon when I was in Junior High....which continued throughout high school... Which continued throughout college...and continues now! 14. Matt and I dated for 3 months and were engaged for 3 days. :) 15. I was baptized at age 6. Sometimes that seems too young...but Ive been blessed with the Holy Spirit moving in my life for many years. Im grateful I decided early.
