#1535 Regarding the discussion going on in this confession house posted by some person concerning the marriages matters with non-arunachalee. In this regard I want to pour some views of mine for the fellow readers; as arunachalees marrying non-tribal is not a big issue if their love is true and properly pursues your marriage convention by the laws of Indian society and constitution. But if, after marrying and settle here in ar.p is a serious problem I can assure it. You see guys as u know there are lots of problems going on regarding PRC and ST, illegal immigrant matters in the state. It’s now become very difficult for the state govt. to handle it and sorted it out. So if some people are thoughts of marrying outsiders think thousand times again, if you are desperate for marriage then go for it no problem but you must abide the rules and laws, if you settle in ar.p and ask for PRC, ST n all then it will be very awful for us the indigenous people , try to think the future consequences of it, how badly it will affect our tribal society if everyone will demand like this for their family, son, daughter etc. so every arunachalee think about your future, your society where you are living, your state. Don’t get blind and engrossed too much in love which may affects your own people, your own children, your own culture, your tradition, your identity and your future generation. We must respect and preserve our identity and also try to promote our culture to the outside world. As for the outsiders I wanted to say if u marry arunachalee girl take it to your place, settle there in your own state and live happily. But don’t try to settle in ar.p and enjoy its benefit. Our state is pure tribal state with rich and unique culture and tradition, that’s why from central govt. we are given special protection to preserve our rich culture and tradition. So try to understand our matter and act genuinely and it will be illegal and against the law if some outsiders taking benefit of it and enjoying ST status in the state arunachal. And if I am not wrong if this trend continues then I think after 20 years there’s no need to check inner line permit (ILP), coz everyone will be tribal of ar.p enjoying ST, PRC etc in state and it will ultimately lead us to be alike Tripura where indigenous people will be minority in their own land. I have many more things to say about it but time didn’t allowing me and also to make ease for readers. So it’s just awareness for the youngsters to be alert and act maturely in future.
