16 July - Surgery scheduled for this afternoon - prayers and positive thoughts are appreciated as always! Andrews skull cap will be placed back from whence it came by the same Dr Lee who removed it. Her knowledge and understanding of Andrews condition and his progress as well as her desire to follow his case individually is crucial at this moment! Wonderful efforts like this are typical of the interest and treatment we have received from the staff here (and for example includes the parking and administration personnel) at UC Davis Med Center! We are not just hopeful - we are confident! Oh, but we take NOTHING for granted - after all...this really IS brain surgery! Update will probably not take place until this evening, so please understand our/my relative silence until then! Andrew, we know you got this!
