17 Skill Development Centres launched by Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh:Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on 19 January 2015 launched 17 Skill Development Centres (SDC) across the state. SDCs aimed at imparting training and honing skills of youth was launched electronically from Vijayawada. These SDCs are being set up by the Skill Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh at various educational institutes.Apart from this, a committee of experts will be constituted to guide students in selection of course at the time of entering college and to provide the source of information for employment. The proposed panel along with SDC would provide counseling to students on selection of course and on combination of subjects from class XI.
