#170 The Prophet Sallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam said There will come a time when women will be clothed yet naked...They will not enter Paradise nor even smell its fragrance.. [Sahih Muslim] I.e. Women will be wearing garments that are figure hugging to the point every curve is completely evident. My dear sisters, hijāb is more than just a piece of cloth covering the hair, the way you talk, the way you walk, the way you carry yourself on a whole is all part of the package. Everything including wrists and ankles need to be covered under a loose garment that doesnt reveal any shape. (except face and hands - difference of opinion) Living in the West I know how easy it is to fall prey to fashion and dressing in a certain way to be part of the norm but you must remember that ultimately it will be YOU in your grave. No fashion industry nor friend nor passer by will be there to help you when you get held accountable, so quit pleasing people and do that which is pleasing to Allah. This situation is only getting worse as we now have so many sisters doing outfits of the days and hijāb tutorials. Why is this even necessary when at the time of the Prophet Sallahu Alayhi wa Sallam the most pious of women knew full well how to dress in accordance to Quran and Sunnah without any tutorials etc. These are the women we need to have as our role model, not those who entice us in wearing tight clothing and adornments when we go out. Bear in mind these women who you hold as role models will be held accountable for all the sisters they have lead astray from the correct Hijāb, so I urge you to stop jumping on the bandwagon unless you are going to portray the correct attire. *Skinny jeans/ leggings/jeggings dont cut it.* Ultimately you need to ask yourself; what is a temporary sacrifice in comparison to an eternal reward?. If you want to be amongst the inhabitants of Jannah then you need to start making changes for the sake of Allah before its too late. The choice is yours. Dress to please the Creator and not His Creation.... . . . . .
