19 Year old Youth tortured to death in Sopore: Ali Mohammad , Sachnews Jammu Kashmir: Sopore, January 04: Omar Ishaq Mir, son of Muhammad Ishaq Mir was abducted and later killed in Tujjer area of Sopore in North Kashmir late last night, sources said. “Omar was kidnapped late Saturday evening by unknown persons and today morning his body was retrieved from nearby fields,” local sources said, Omar, 19, a resident of Tujjer , Sopore is son of a Congress Sarpanch. The police sources said that Omar, apparently doesn’t have any bullet injury. “It seems the cause of his death might be some rivalry and apparently has occurred due torture,” they said. Meanwhile police are looking at all angles and investigation is on.
