19 years ago today, Annette & I woke up thinking the most exciting thing that would happen that day would be the delivery of the baby furniture. We had put so much work into the nursery and we were very excited. Annette was out of work on hi-risk pregnancy, short-term disability and I had taken the day off. My cousin Ann-Marie whom we attended birthing classes with, had just called to inform us that she had given birth to her little girl. I remember thinking I wish Annette would go into labor. Not even a minute after I thought that, she calls out... Sal, I think my water broke! And the rest is history. Michael, you have enriched our lives in ways I cant begin to articulate. Happy Birthday Son. We love you and are very proud of you!
