1954 Pegaso Z-102 Cabriolet by Saoutchik for sale (Pebble Beach auction). While many petrolheads havent heard about it, the Pegaso brand is best known in its home country Spain. In its 46-year existence, the company mostly built buses and trucks, but a few special sports cars were also produced. This Z-102 was one of them. Although it was the 1950s, Pegaso engineers employed motorsport technology in its alloy body and chassis. Just about everything was produced in-house at a factory in Barcelona, the exception being the beautiful body shell. Saoutchik was a French company founded by a Russian cabinet maker in 1906. Needless to say, you only need to check out the gallery below to see how extravagant and exquisite these guys designed car bodies.
