1956: Johnny Carson is the guest panelist on Whats My Line. The leadoff person is a guy who looks like he must be the head taster at a doughnut factory. Johnny immediately realizes that comedy will be done a complete disservice if a fat joke is not made. But how to phrase it the right way? How to time it? The wheels spin in his head. Finally, at exactly the right nanosecond, he delivers the zinger. Dorothys jaw drops, proving once and for all she has a chin no matter what Ol Blues Eyes used to say, and the laugh comes in a big way.
