1978 Dodge Lil Red Express for sale. The price is $13,000.00. Solid frame and body. Mileage is 124,366. I purchased this truck in May 2013 in Randleman N.C. I have put less than 200 miles on the truck since than. I replaced the running engine with a 1993 Chrysler 360 LA series Super Commando 360 horsepower crate engine. The original engine also comes with the truck. I added a Boyd fuel cell to the bed, mounted to the wood only. I added alot of aftermarket parts to the truck as follows: MSD Components : Digital 6AL ignition controller, Pro billet distributor, Blaster 2 coil, and 8.5mm wireset, Holley Components: High performance electric fuel pump, Fuel pump relay Kit, Billet 100 micron filter, Fuel pressure regulator, Street Avenger 4150 670 CFM carburetor. Other miscellaneous aftermarket parts added: Russel Proflex fuel hose and #6 AN fittings, Autometer Pro-Comp Ultra-Lite tachometer, Oil gauge, and Water temp. gauge, Optima 34-78 battery, Daves Dodge duel snorkel reproduction air cleaner hoses. The wheels were powdercoated Bengal Silver by Final Touch Powder Coating in Spring Lake N.C. wrapped with Cooper Cobra Radial GT tires. P275/60R15 in the back and P235/60R15 in the front. New McGard chrome lugnuts and new reproduction centercaps from Dodge Connection. The truck is not perferct. It has had a repaint in its past that is chipping in places. It leaks transmission fluid. The original cluster circuit board has broken pins and needs to be replaced. The original amp gauge is good but has been bypassed to prevent any problems electrically generated by an aging amp gauge. The door and window seals need to be replaced. The wiper bushing need to be replaced also. Feel free to call or text me at 919-499-8218 with any questions.
