1984 and 2002 will always and shall always remain a blot on India democracy until all the perpetrators are punished. Both these planned massacres, churned out for electoral incentives, reflects the kind of majoritarian chauvinism that has always existed in this country, needless to say, now under the fascist government we are even legitimizing it. Those who try to break down the two massacres into the binaries of congress and the BJP, should realize that both of them were carried out by Hindutva forces, which has no dearth either in the Congress or the BJP. However, BJP officially represents that Ideology but congress has still decided to proclaim it self as a secular and progressive party. Nevertheless, the concept of Nationalism provides them fodder enough to sustain themselves at any point of time .
