1985 Chevy K10 4x4 Unknown Actual Mileage FOR TRADE ONLY Council Bluffs, Iowa I have for TRADE ONLY, a 1985 Chevy K10 Scottsdale. Im not sure how many miles are on it since it isnt equipped with the original motor and trans. Originally came with a 305 with a 700R4, but has since been swapped out with a 350/TH350 before I took possession of the truck. Runs and drives, love the truck, just need something a little more kid friendly since I have a child on the way. I am mainly looking for a 4x4 SUV, 4 doors preferred, V8 preferred, manual trans is preferred. I will consider other offers, but thats what Im looking for. I dont need anything perfect, the truck isnt perfect. Needs new seals, needs a new intake gasket, shouldnt be too expensive; its an old SBC. Timing at idle is a little off due to the gasket being bad/missing (vacuum advanced distributor) but otherwise everything pretty much works. Its definitely a fixer-upper, if youre so inclined. Or just leave it how it is and let it look like the beast it is. New on it since December last year: Plugs Wires Cap Rotor Ignition Coil Air Filter Carb Tuned a little better New rims and rear tires (Fronts are a little worn, needs new centerlink rod ends, they pop going around corners, traded the wheels and tires for these back in December) Tie rod ends and adjusting sleeve from pitman arm to steering knuckle Things needing replaced: Engine Seals Intake Manifold gasket Right Rear leaf spring (has a broken spring) Maybe something else, I dont remember I installed 6 off road lights and wired them into switches located under the steering wheel. The lights are mounted (2) to the front push bumper and (4) to the lightbar thats bolted to the roof. Only thing Im keeping is the CB set up and personal effects out of the cab and the stuff in the tool box, you can have the rest. Let me know what you have.
