1988 - 15 years old and my first introduction to Bill Hicks. I used to tape every comedy special that came on HBO and watch them over and over. I learned more about life from Robin Williams, An Evening at the Met than I did from my parents. Comedians, to me, are the last bastion of free speech. They can say ANYTHING they want on that stage with no fear of reprisal. We need more of them who have the courage of their own beliefs. What comedians out there do you think still stand for something more than just making people laugh? What comedians make you think as much as make you laugh? For me, it is Bill Burr and Louis CK.
