1998 Chevy Malibu for sale, available Friday. $600.00 Read ALL of this before commenting! Medium sandstone in color (Basically looks gold/tan) 3.1 litre v6 & auto trans Car has roughly 182,000 miles ENGINE has only 110,000. Runs very well, tranny in good shape Check engine light is ON. Evap and throttle position sensor codes HAS FUEL TANK/FILLER ISSUES. CAN be driven regularly without fixing, but youll need to put smaller amounts of gas in more frequently instead of filling the entire tank. Undercarriage has a decent amount of rust Exterior OK, except mainly rust around gas flap Tan leather interior complete with glove box and an annoying center console that flips backwards for some reason to access another unnecessary storage area AM/FM with CD and tape. No clue if cd works, who uses cds anymore? Tape works for mp3 input, which I will include :) Cigarette lighter port not working, aux power port for car charger works Needs some suspension work but still goes a to b fine and doesnt eat tires Tires in okay shape Ill even sweep it out tomorrow if it isnt pouring out again lol LONG STORY SHORT: It is a working car. It runs. It drives. It has heat and has been getting me to and from Willard on a daily basis for work. It needs tlc. Even with TLC it wont be a perfect car. It WILL be a nice beater car to get the next person in need to or from work or school or the booty call or whatever suits your lifestyle lol. Please understand that this car is dirt cheap because it is not in great shape. Check fluids regularly and fix the gas tank filler issue and youll be a-ok. Selling AS-IS or will send the thing to the final resting place called Milliron, but will go no lower than 600 for private sale. (If I take to milliron I will put the old bad motor back in and sell the good one to my buddy and make about the same off of it but lose a few hours of my life). Thought I would offer the car up on here to see if another troubled soul was in a walking everywhere situation like I was and need to find that way to not walk for groceries - like I was when I bought it. Final note, from experience - it is WAY better than walking home from kroger with groceries in a rubbermaid container that is tied to an appliance dolly. Have title/registration/license to verify ownership and legal right to sell outright. Will take some pics later if anybody is interested.
