Players are guaranteed a minimum of 28 weeks of work per year, with a minimum of 5 months’ notice of contracted work dates. The company takes world-class opera to all corners of Scotland, ensuring that as many people as possible can enjoy this wonderful art form. The company is based in Glasgow and the Orchestra performs full and medium-scale opera, and participates in education and outreach work, concerts and recordings.
