1st Choice, LLC is seeking a creative, highly talented Senior Construction Project Manager for immediate employment in the Washington DC office. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in commercial construction specific to the development of hospitals office buildings, or high rise residential projects in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area. The incumbent can look forward to projects including planning, design and construction of a wide variety of construction projects. Responsibilities will include preliminary and final design of a wide range of construction projects in Washington DC Metropolitan Area, working with clients to identify needs and develop scopes and budgets, managing project development tasks to meet project objectives within the established scope and budget, directing the efforts of junior engineers and technicians, preparation of plans and reports that respond to client needs, presentation of project results to various public and private clients and agencies including the public, coordinate design efforts with stakeholders and or owners. Job Requirements •Bachelors degree in civil engineering or related field. • Registration and designation as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Maryland preferred not required. • Minimum 15 years of project management experience and 9 years of progressively increasing knowledge and responsibility • Knowledge of Cadd or related design software, • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey thoughts clearly and concisely.
