1st DAY ISLAND HOPPING - CARAMOAN Caramoan with its coastline, islands, lagoons and beaches are what burned the petrol in our minds and hearts to pay a visit. Hopping from isle-to-isle showed us that this isolated town is truly still an unblemished paradise away from the commercial type of tourism. Each island offers its own secrets, where you can see and feel seventh heaven, where nature cast its spell to all comers. The only letdown is I was issued an undersized life vest. I look terrible on this thing, whew!!! During the first day, we were toured on the small group of islands nearby, i.e., Matukad Is., Lahos Is., Cagbanilad Is., Minalahos Is. and Tinago Cove. We passed by the island where Gota Village of Survivor fame is, but we were told non-guest of the village can only land if we pay exorbitant fees. Overall, we were awed by its pristine beaches with ultra fine white powdery sand, the crystal clear aquamarine waters which enabled us to snorkel and watch its lush marine life, the prominent limestone cliffs and rock formations which look like oversized jigsaw puzzles……. Wow, this is the “Garden of Eden” once again unveiled!!! Please remember, this is only the first day!
