1st Day 1st Show, 1st time in life. Went to watch Happy New Year movie at INOX, Forum, Elgin Road with my father Swapan Das. The film starred Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Vivaan Shah, Sonu Sood, Jacky Shroff directed by Farah Khan. Liked the film as an entertainer and it had great dialogues which made me proud as an Indian. But, from cinematic view, it has nothing. Weak story, weak acting by Abhishek Bachchan in double role, same for Vivaan Shah and the very very short length of the film saddened me. Yet, the songs were rocking and the energetic atmosphere at the set were nice to watch! The fight with North Korea team was something new in Indian film history. Thanks team HNY for giving some amount of entertainment, but I am surprised to listen the Aankhome Teri (Om Shanti Om soundtrack) in this film! Thank to HP and BookMyShow as well.
