1st Practice Match, Eastern Academy XI vs Nepal in Johannesburg, South Africa After the delayed start due to rain, Nepal won the toss and elected to bowl first. The match is reduced to 30 overs per side match. Eastern XI started well with good run rate against Nepal opening bowlers. Karan KC drew first blood for Nepal as the first wicket fell in the sixth over for the score of 22 on board. However, the South African batsmen kept looking for runs as they notched up massive 40 runs in next 5 overs before the skipper took a good catch to dismiss 2nd EA XI wicket on Sagar Pun’s delivery.
