1st day of MUHARRAM UL HARAM 2nd Khalifah e Rashid Ameerul Momeneen Umar Farooq Azam RaziAllah Anho sacrificed his life for the sake of Islam on the very first day of Islamic Calender. Dont you think there should be a public holiday on that day as we should pay tribute to one of the most lawful Companion of Prophet Muhammad SalAllaho Alayhe Wasalam? There should be a public holiday on that day and the government must pay tribute to Hazrat Umar for his services to Islam and Muslim world...... not only this but the electronic media should also telecast special transmission by highlighting the services of Him. As they do for Mr. Jinnah, Allama Iqbal, Liaquat Ali Khan, and other politicians like Mr. Bhutto, Gen. Zia ul Haq, Benazir Bhutto etc.
