2) CYBER BULLYING Because the internet is available to almost anyone that can work a computer or a tech gadget (which seems to be everyone nowadays because of the amount of technology that our generation has been exposed to) Cyber bullying has become an reoccurring act, the internet has become a unsafe environment where mostly children are effected and are bullied by each other, discrimination and hateful things are to be passed on throughout social media websites or even throughout emails, because of this the suicide rates have become increasingly high. As of 2012, out of 2,000 American middle school students in America • 20% of the students reported that they seriously think about attempting suicide • 19% of the students reported attempting suicide How to stop it: Social media and chat logs should have filters for inappropriate language. And anything that is seen should be reported. The consequence is to attend a conference circle on the effects of cyber bullying for 4 weeks. This way the students can see what they’re actually doing it and learn from their mistakes in a reasonable way.
