2 Corinthians 12:9-10 says, But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. (I am not looking for you to feel sorry for me so please dont take it that way. I have been able to put on my big girl drawers, most days, and look beyond the issues at hand. I just felt led to share this right now.) This has been an INCREDIBLY difficult year of teaching for me. Insults. Yes. Weakness. Yes. Feeling persecuted. Yes. Yet, over and over and over again, God has sent me scripture or a person or the simple lyrics to a song that have reminded me that His grace is more than sufficient and that I dont have to do any of this on my own. I am a lucky girl :)
