2 Corinthians 3:9 For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. 3:10 For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth. 3:11 For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious. 3:12 Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: 3:13 And not as Moses, which put a veil over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: 3:14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same veil untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which veil is done away in Christ. 3:15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the veil is upon their heart. 3:16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the veil shall be taken away. 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the LORD........: It is high time every child of GOD sees the word of GOD as spiritual and treat it as such. The law and Its many commandments even carry a glory even though it leads to condemnation. One is not permitted to see to the end or get the full comprehension of this glory since it has beign covered with a veil. The veil Moses used is a spiritual symbolics of how ones heart becomes hardened in bidding to the rules of the law after it has beign read to him. Even to this day, Bible says the veil still remains on the hearts of those who read the law and try to go by it. Heb 10:1 expresses that, the law is Just a shadow of the real things to come and the substance is Christ Jesus. If then the substance is already here, why should we still follow a shadow. But scripture reveals that once you come to Jesus, that veil will be removed for you to see the actual glory in the new testament that is not covered by a veil meanwhile Its glory overshadows the earlier one that faded away. Are you looking on to His grace as the pre-requisite to your salvation or you think it is by your good deeds. Know that you can do nothing good if not by his grace and any good you do without Him is but a filthy rag. Lets not put on minds on rules and obligations as pertaining yo the old but Lets rest on His grace by faith and He will lead us from glory to glory as we are changed into the same image with him with open face uncovered by a veil. But if you look on to laws, you will be covered and cannot see the actual glory and therefore cant be transformed into His image. Thats why after quoting the law in your mind to go according to it, you end up breaking it because of Gal 5:4: Christ has become of no effect for you who is under the law, you Hav fallen from grace. But to those who count on His grace He says, By faith we do the righteous requirements of the law. Romans 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
