2 Kings 3 Nevertheless he cleaved unto the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, which made Israel to sin; he departed not therefrom. (2 Kings 3:3 KJV) When a king is in sin and leads people, the people see him and usually they tend to follow in the same footsteps as seen here. Sin tends to spread if not dealt with and will eventually lead to worse things. So for us as Christians especially those who are in leadership/or are discipling someone, we need to be careful and also mindful that people are watching and we need to be setting an example. So if there is any sin in our lives we need to deal with it right away and not let it spread, because it can spread and will cause others to either enter or continue In That same sin or cause them to stumble. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9 KJV) -Alex
