2. Noah Yudt asked if Waiters is traded to the 76ers in the Love Deal, will the 76ers benefit and how will he do there? Most likely isn’t going to happen. They will probably get Anthony Bennett if they are given a chance at the three way trade. In cost they will lose Young. This is good for them, it will give them three strong players to attack and defend the basket. And will most likely allow the outside guards to really find their shots and dribble drive. -MC I believe that Waiters could make the 76ers would make a few moves to improve their veteran leadership. Lets say for the sake of this question that Thad Young does get involved in a trade sending him to the T Wolves and the 76ers were to receive Waiters, the only veteran leadership that would really be present would be Jason Richardson. I truly believe that Dion can be somewhat of a leader, he showed signs of it in Cleveland, but I personally believe sometimes his ego gets in the way. There is not a thing wrong with how he approaches his game except that sometimes his comments can lead to clashing heads with his teammates who are even statistically better than him. In his sophomore season Waiters averaged 15.9 points and shot the ball about 43% while only starting 24 games out of the entire 2013 campaign. Not to mention he is from Philly, seriously, look at the mans Instagram for 2 minutes, you will see how much he loves his town of Philly, so if I’m a Sixers fan, I want that guy over Anthony Bennett. -C If Dion Waiters is shipped to Philadelphia in a Love deal, I do believe that he will benefit the team greatly. Being only 22, he fits pretty well with their team. They have a young squad and are trying to grow as a club in a few years. This also will make Waiters happy because he will be going to the city he loves. The 76ers lack in the shooting guard position, which means he would get the minutes he wants. I believe that if Waiters can work and mature with this team with young talent, he will be a very helpful player to a young organization. With the 76ers having Noel and Embiid, I believe this is a real possibility and they will push for waiters before taking Bennet. -Tsherm18
