2 Timothy 1: 1-2 verse 1: Ngyayithanda indlela uPaul abingelela ngayo when he says, This letter is from Paul, chosen by the will of God. He says hes been sent to tell others about the life in Christ. If it was addressed to me, I would gladly receive it, knowing that it comes from a God chosen apostle.Surely we know more about Paul and his In Christ phrase. His belief that life, salvation, redemption, eternity is in Christ, made this phrase one of his famous phrases. verse 2: Was it so important that Paul mentions ukthi lencwadi uyibhalela u Timothy, I mean kucacile loko, so why asitshele loko. Well, its one of Pauls trends. izincwadi zakhe are mostly identified ngokuthi uyakwenza kwaziwe ukthi ngye obhalile.This letter to Timothy was written 2 to 4 yrs after the first one. Timothy had been Pauls companion and Paul had left him in Ephesus to help the Church there (1 Timothy 1:3-4). What I find important here is how important relationships, Christian and Church growth are. u Timothy ubehamba noPaul kwizindawo abeshumayela kuzo, today u Timothy is left alone ukwenza loku akufunde kuPaul, ukushumayela ivangeli. He is in a foreign country, wenza umsebenzi awubizelwe. the relationship he have with Paul becomes very helpful emsebenzini wake as Paul encourages the young chap by writing to him. u Timothy utshengisa ukukhula uma esekwazi ukuhamba ngaphandle kuka Paul ayokwenza umsebenzi weNkosi. Now, maybe we can ask ourselves lemibuzo: 1. How have my growth in Christ benefited the church, if it has? 2. Can I point any people who I have helped in their Christian journey? 3. Engiyiko eCaweni, ngabe kuvela kuNkulunkulu or m just forcing my way in?
