2 secrets to awesomely tasting kale chips: 1. Dry the kale before you make the chips! Really matters! I place my washed ripped shreds of kale on a dishcloth and place another dish cloth on top pressing lightly to absorb the water. This seems to work best. 2. Add citrus zest! Terry Wahls MD shared this on a video a while back and it has forever changed my palate for kale chips! Wonderful addition and I use orange and lemon intermittently and together! Recipe: I bunch of Kale rinsed and dried (break into chip size pieces pulling from the stem) Coconut oil, bacon fat or your fat of choice 1 tablespoon per 4 cups Citrus Zest 1 tablespoon Pink Himalayan sea salt 3 pinches Preheat oven for 425 degrees.
