2 weeks ago I stopped to get gas. I had seen a young man get out of a truck, he was in his uniform. As he was walking to the store, he looked a little down. After I parked my motorcycle I went into the store and found this young man. I had asked if I could give him a hug. After I gave him a hug and told him thank you for keeping me safe and free, He replied that I was the first person to thank him for his service, then he added he was down because while he was on tour his farther had passed and he was there for the funeral. He also said that he was grateful that I went out of my way to acknowledge him. I want to put out to every, Please take a few steps out of your way to shake a hand of some one in the military and tell them thank you for there service. It may just brighten there day.
