20/09/2013 Tonight I will be wearing my moonstone. It is 6cm long and 2.5 cm wide. When I wear it, it shines completely white. My cat, Elsa sleeps soundly, curled up in a ball. I have just been meditating for relaxation. The day before yesterday I went to visit my former choir, Transformers. I loved the way they sang moonshine, three little birds, need one another and everyone needs love. I must still keep up some guitar practice. They day before that I jogged to the fitness centre, did some aerobics and sh’bam. I exercised for three hours. I am moving my body to do some jogging and swimming. I have also been on my exercise bike and practicing a bit of yoga. I am going through Microsoft suite programmes for a module in financial administration. Last night, I went to Spanish class and I did a three minute talk on what life was like 100 years ago. I found out the average wage was 0.22 cents an hour. The average person lived to 47 years. 5% of doctors had degrees. 95% of students did not graduate high school. There was no heating except fire and there was no air-conditioning. 90% of houses had an outside bath/toilet. Women washed their clothes by racks and basins. The natural facial creams were a combination of butter, oil and natural remedies. A person washed their hair once a month, not with shampoo but with borax and eggs. The average car speed limit was 10 miles an hour and the roads had no asphalt. Television had three channels in black and white. Morse code was the most used method of telegraphic communication. Airplanes had just begun flying in the air and the Titanic cruise ship sank.
