*20* We talked all night long and she told me that we must tell the police. Told me everything was going to be fine. We shared a lot of tears. Asa didnt wake up that night. It was like she knew that we wanted to heal and bond at the same time. I slept in the hands of my mother for the first time. Something I had never experienced before. The motherly love from its deepest. We woke up the following morning. I bathed Asa and dressed her up. I also took a bath. I fed her and soon me and my mom we were leaving. We drove to the police station and my whole body was shaking. Me: mom lets go back please Mom: no baby we have to do this, inorder to set you free Me: am scared, he said hell kill me if I report him Mom: youll survive, Ill protect you Me: okay mom We held hands and walked in the station. The place freaked me out a bit. We went to the other police teller. It was a woman. Her: hello how may we help you? Mom: were here to lay a charge of rape against her father. Her: when did this all happen? Me: about 10 months back Her: ow but let me tell you this, it will be hard for him to be charge because theres is no evidence Me: this is his child Her: oh Ill help you then We gave them information and all that was needed.They did all the work and said theyll prepare the arrest. I was a happy, it was all I had ever wished for. Seeing my dad behind bars. He has taken away so much from me. I could see thou that my mom was torn apart. I think she blamed herself for what happened to me. But no one plans such. We went back home. Asa was sleeping the whole journey. Little kids thou. We got home and I went upstairs to lay Asa down. The minute I put her down she started crying. Mxm how ironic. I rocked her and fed her. She wanted to play somehow. So I sat and played with her. Sang a few songs to her. How lucky I am. Some have still births, some mothers die during birth but for me everything was successful. Ofcourse premature but alive. Some people may think am crazy or something but I love this lil one. Inkosazana yami. Soon sje fell asleep right again. My dad got arrested and things were starting to get real. We were given the court date for his appeal. He went out on bail.I was getting nervous more and more as the date was approaching. Only a few people close to me believed me. This all caused a stir because first Khayas parents turned on me and called me a slut. They said I was good for nothing. That I became a devil when I fooled them and lied to them. That I made them believe in things that werent there. Giving them a fake smile, fooling into believing they had a grandchild. That made me feel dirty minded. It ate me. Well Khaya was also embarrassed for lying like that. We thought we knew what we were doing but it turns out we put ourselves in a shameful manner. Well everything was about to go down. The court day finally arrived. We were told to dress formal. I was scared. My mom hired a nanny to guard Asa. I woke up early that morning and wore a black skirt with a pink blouse and some black wedges. I kissed my sleeping angel and went downstairs. Khaya was there wearing a suit. Me: hey buddy Khaya: mama kaNkosazana Me: mxm love you too buddy Khaya: ready for today Me: one can never be ready Mom: hey you two come lets eat. Went sat on the high chairs and started eating. Food couldnt get in so I just put it in the microwave. The nanny came and in and we got to know each other a bit. Khaya went to take Asa upstairs. They came downstairs and Asa was all giggles. Me: someone is happy Khaya: this is my baby girl Me: whatever come here baby I took her and she started crying. Ohkay weird. I gave her to Khaya and she kept quiet :/ I kissed her. Khaya played around with her and soon it was time to go. We handed her over to the nanny and went off. We got in the car and said a prayer, asking the Lord to guide us. We set on our journey and soon we were at the court. We went in and our lawyer was already there. We sat by the front row. In came my father with his lawyer looking all innocent. I looked at him and I so wished to attack him. Guard: All rise We rose and the judge came in. It was about to go down. Wish me luck... :/ Stay tuned to find out what happens next....
