20 years ago today, myself a young 17 year old girl was given the news that her newborn baby whom she had only seen for a moment was transferred to the newborn intensive care unit, the baby had blue baby syndrome, she had a bleed on the brain and was having seizures, not only that she was fully blind and possibly suffered from brain damage that may leave her in an unknown state, the girl who was still medically induced called upon her parents who entered the room with authority, going to the first and only source of our help . It was at that moment I, promised that I would do the very best I could to be the best parent I can be. From that moment on a peace fell over me that is indescribable and throughout all that we went through I knew it would be ok. Now we are here today and I still have that peace that no matter what happens to me, my children are covered and all will always be OK. Tavia Lachelle has the mind of Christ and she can do all things, she is firmly rooted in the word and knows how to pray. All is well with my soul and God is greatly to be praised
