20 years ago today, we got our own Christmas miracle. Nash Reed Burke arrived three weeks early with a very uncertain future. His first few hours included some scary things including his emergency birth, an ambulance ride (with his dad by his side) from Magee to Childrens of Pittsburgh and the first of five operations (two major, three minor.) 23 days, a second major operation and some steady praying by hundreds of people later, we got to bring him home much to the surprise of his doctors who told us a minimum of six weeks. Hes been amazing us ever since. I couldnt be more thankful or more proud. Happy 20th birthday Nash! Love you!
