Having already had a very traditional hammam with the local ladies in Chefchoen (North Morocco) and a massage in Essouaria, I already knew what to expect from my experience. I actually visited the hammam the day before my visit to check it out given the feedback about it being hard to find! It is definitely hard to find, however if you call them, the very friendly Yassine (gentleman) will come and collect you. Even on the day BEFORE my hammam I was treated to exceptional hospitality by the family who run the hammam and other riads close by. I got to meet the boss, Samira and her sister Myriam, Yassine, Fatima & Aicha. They were all incredibly warm, friendly, genuine and welcoming. An absolute delight! I then returned for my appointment the next day and its safe to say that all my expectations were well exceeded. I booked the full 95€ package for 2.5 hours commencing at 11am and didnt leave until 4:30pm! I was the only client there so felt extremely special. I received the traditional hammam for 45 mins, a full body massage for 1hr 15mins & a facial for 30 mins. It was divine! I was given a robe and artificial underpants to wear during the entire treatment so you dont need to bring anything with you. The hammam warm room, massage room and the entire surroundings are very clean, sensual & inviting - perfect for relaxing. Included in the package is mint tea & biscuits on arrival, fresh orange juice after your hammam, a luxurious shower after all the treatments and a 3 course traditional Moroocan meal on the terrace to end. I could not have asked for a more perfect way to end my 3 weeks in Morrocco! Huge thanks and gratitude for everything. Fantastic value, dont think about it, just book it!
