2006 ECONOMICS FORUM ANNUAL GARTHERING MEETING MINUTES HELD ON SUNDAY 5TH SEPTEMBER, 2014 AT KERD CONFERENCE HALL GANDUN ALBASA KANO. OPENNING PRAYER: Was delivered by Malam Auwal Umar (Danbala) at about 5:30PM. SELF INTRODUCTION: Was successfully carried out by all participants stating their names and places of work. OPENNING REMARK: This was successfully delivered by the Chairman of the forum in person of Sagir Ibrahim in his remark he welcome all the stakeholders to the annual 2006 economics forum meeting, he explained all the processes and problems of organizing and coordinating the meeting by highlighting all the challenges facing the forum, he also stress the need forevery member to be a self appointed ambassador of the forum, on the other hand explained the purpose of the gathering as to intensify and build sustainable relationship among members and at last he urged the stakeholders to use social media as a means of propagating and updating the forum status among ourselves and once again he welcome all the stakeholder and wishes them a successful deliberation of the meeting. SUGGESTION AND WAY FORWARD: the room for this was given by the chairman of the meeting for consideration and the following suggestion and way forward were given. Jamilu Abubakar Mashasha stressed more on chairman remark and suggested to have other members contact, and also encourage others to be coming to the annual gathering Haruna Adamu Zakirai suggested on regular contact among stakeholders on social media Suggested on strengthen the organizers elbow by mal Kabiru Abdullahi Alhaji Tijjani Rabi,u suggested on regular prayers for development and sustainability of the forum, He also suggested that every stakeholder should be P.R.O of the forum Shamsuddeen Dandago suggested that social media should be used to update members on life issues Nura Abdullahi Ya,u organizing committee should try to identify reason for low attendance and find the way forward Open a site on what’s app / facebook so as to keep in touch with each other suggested by Murtala Yusuf Habibu Sani suggested that minute and attendance of previous meeting should be presented to the forum meeting Jamilu Ahmed Bala call on stakeholders to be scarifying for coming to the forum meeting Aminu yusuf suggested on strengthen dedication and willingness to bring the forum forward Kamilu Abdul muktar call on stakeholders who are yet to marry to do so because of its blessing Abduljalil Umar Yakasai appreciates the organizers of the meeting and also suggested that what’s app and facebook should be maintain as our means of contact.
