****2013 MPX Racing Motocross Banquet Update**** Our MPX banquet is this Sunday, December 8th. That is only (5) wake ups away. We are super excited to get to see you all again but it also means we have a lot of work ahead of us yet this week. Donations from our quality dealers, distributors, manufacturers, other tracks, service providers (suspension, engine building, etc) and even individuals have been steadily pouring in. We had some companies step up in MAJOR ways and we trust you will be pleasantly surprised. We are still waiting to hear from a few that verbally committed over the past few months. I can tell you that this year is going to be amongst the best of all MPX banquets you have ever attended in regards to prizes. If you are a dealer, rep, manufacturer, or other and want to get a chance to put your product in the hands of our riders or their family members, there is no easier way than to donate to our banquet. YOU STILL HAVE TIME!!!! Racers love to win things and we will have 400-500 at one place this weekend. When approaching new dealers for our banquet, many of them understand the importance of working together to promote our sport but some of them have questions as far as whats the point of them sponsoring? To us, that is a very fair question to ask. So our answers have been: 1) It helps promote our sport, and you, the dealer in the sport, by putting your name on product that you sponsor (business card, etc) and by advertising your company in our banquet brochures, track announcements, website, fb, etc. Every racer out there likes something for free and if they get a chance to try your product for free, they may become a life long user of your product or store where they may not have been in the past. Putting your product or products that you sell on a table for 400-500 people to see and have a chance to win is an incredible opportunity. Just think how long it takes to get 500 potential customers through your doors.... 2) It allows us to open your dealership or business up to receive our dealer checks that are written to our racers each race as awards. We only write dealer checks to dealers that support us throughout the season. We recognize support in a variety of ways, and this is just one of the ways to make the list so to speak. When racers win awards at our races, they can either pick a trophy, plaque, dealer check. When they choose a dealer check, we write a check to a dealer of their choice (who is on our list) and they come to you to redeem the check and generally will spend more $. We generally write $500+ in dealer checks each race. The goal of every business owner is to get a customer in your store. This does just that. 3) If you are a manufacturer or service provider, we will always welcome you to our track, banquet, or special event to showcase your product or work. There have been several companies over the years who have greatly increased their clientele by taking advantage of this. Whats in it for us (MPX) is that we are given some tools to help bring one of the best banquets on the planet to our riders. The standard was set high by the previous owners of MPX and we hope to be able to keep that standard where it is expected to be. I have had a few families call and text this week to see if they could get a few extra tickets at the door. We saved the spots for them but once we are sold out, we are sold out. We bought 20 extra plates just because, and those are going fast. If you know you need an extra ticket, please call or message us ASAP. We can figure something out but I dont want you to show up and go hungry. Thats about it for today. Thank you all for such a great season.
