2013 Observatory Hill Holiday Stroll observatoryhill/stroll2013/ It’s that time of year again, the holidays are upon us! Last year, we hosted our first ever Observatory Hill Holiday Stroll, and this year we’re doing it again, only bigger and better. We’ve got a great group of area businesses signed on to participate, offering refreshments, activities, and extended shopping hours. We invite neighborhood folks, friends and families to join us from 5:00-8:00pm on the evening of Sunday, December 8th for this fun and festive neighborhood event! Just like last year, we’ll also be hosting a raffle, with proceeds going to benefit Cambridge Family and Children’s Service. The winner will receive a basket chock full of donated products, gift cards and more from participating neighborhood businesses. Participating businesses will include: America Dural: Prosecco Annie Hall Interiors: Wine and cheese Austin Architects: Roasted chestnuts, spiced wine, and a holiday movie viewing Coldwell Banker: Gingerbread cookie decorating Didriks: The Happy Chocolatier Chocolate Cubze and sparkling wine European Country Antiques: White Cranberry Cosmos and appetizers Hi-Rise Bread Co: Holiday Bazaar featuring local artisans Jeana’s Dirty Dog Salon: Sample Treat Bags for furry friends Local Root: Hot cider and seasonal cookies Majestic Yoga Studio: Chai tea and assorted sweet treats Observatory: Boutonnieres by Laura Jean Floral and Design, and Cheesecake Coconut Brownies Observatory Hill Studio: Fun and festive photo booth Reside: Yam, leek and saffron soup, Kale Frittata, Roasted Spiced nuts and Champagne cocktails Sarah’s Market: Craft Beer Tasting and face painting for the little ones Touch Art Gallery: Wine and cheese Wet Paint Nail Spa: Santa, Toys for Tots drop-off point, and complimentary paraffin dips We hope to see you on Sunday, December 8th for an evening of eating, drinking and general merriment– and to kick-start the holiday shopping season!
