2013 PATHWAYS NOMINATIONS UPDATE.......... YCB have now issued details about a revised process for Pathways trials for 2013-14. The revision is mainly due to some of the nets at Headingley being unavailable. The main bulk of the age-group trials are now expected to be held on Saturday 30th November 2013 at venues and times to be advised by letter. 8 UAJCA boys already on Pathways will be excused trials and will receive communication directly from Pathways coaches regarding the next phase of the training. 32 UAJCA nominees aged over 10 and under 15 at the time of the trial [30/11/2013] will as previously advised, receive an invitation directly from YCB during week commencing 4th November 2013 For 18 UAJCA boys aged over 15 [at 30/11/13] will be invited to a County net session in the evening of 28th January 2014 which will look at selection for pre-season trial matches for the u16 & u17 County Age Teams. Letters should go out this week. For 16 UAJCA boys under 10 [at 31/08/13]; new structures are being developed to assess this age group and all will be invited to the UAJCA Development Centre at Ermysteads where they will be assessed by a representative from the county coaches, with exceptionally talented boys having opportunity to progress to Pathways or County structures for their age group. Letters can be expected from week commencing 11th November 2013.
