2013 YOUTH MONTH I greet you all in the wonderful name of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. It is again that time of the year where we remember and commemorate the courage, wisdom and the enthusiastic youth of 1976. I believe to us it should not only be the celebrations but to take the baton of our freedom to continue to fight the injustice that is overshadowing our world today. Our young people today are also faced with serious challenges that affect them and will continue to their future unless something drastic is done. No other messiah will come and save us but the young people must immediately stand up and act against RACISM AT SCHOOL, DRUG LORDS, CORRUPTION, SATANISM and WOMEN AND CHILD ABUSE. I really speak with the bleeding heart because I wonder if my own kids will ever be able to live in a safe world that God has given us to control. I want to challenge the Anglican youth to start to ACT, silence will make our lives more miserable. Let’s defend our future. Start to report all the immoral acts in your area. Join hands with the community to change the misery to great joy. Mother Teresa once said, “IF YOU CAN’T CHANGE THE WORLD, CHANGE THE LIFE OF THE ONE NEXT TO YOU”. Let’s change the situation of our communities today; I believe God has called you and I to fight a good fight. Stand up and let’s clean our world today because God gave it to us to preserve and nurture. Let “PDR “(PRIDE, DETERMINATION and RESILIECE) be the source of your courage. Have pride in yourself, be determined to preserve what is yours and resist the evil. Remember, you will not be young for too long, therefore enjoy your youth responsibly the world is waiting for your great talent. Have a blessed youth Month. Regards, Fr Tom Tshiponyana Provincial Youth Chaplain
