2014 Fundraising Party logo Mike and Lynn Ropelt are Champions of the Alzheimer’s Face Off tournament in April as a member of the Sherwood Park Shooters hockey team. They are holding a St. Patty’s Day Kick-off event at the Canadian Brewhouse, 270 Baseline Rd., Sherwood Park on Friday 14 March 2014 which will include draws, silent and live auctions. The evening starts at 5:30 pm and we should have things wrapped up by 10:00 pm. Tickets are only $20 which includes a $5 drink voucher, appetizers and hundreds of dollars in door prizes. Every dollar raised will support the Alzheimer Society of Alberta & NWT and will fund cutting-edge Alberta-based research that is helping to find new and better treatments, and ultimately a cure, for this debilitating disease.
