WandeRANT: Yesterday, we had an opportunity to once again perform in a music festival. Sadly, there really is a discrimination on how organizers/producers treat LOCAL BANDS. First, our sound was beyond shitty. We didnt have monitors and the team there to assist us seemed like they didnt know what they were doing. We actually had a soundcheck the day before, what was that for anyway? Second, some FOREIGN BAND had their soundcheck the same day which caused delays and so, our set was cut to 15min from 30min. They even THREATENED to cut the power supply if we exceeded 15mins. Third, all FOREIGN BANDS had a great sound. We felt left out because it seemed that the producers didnt provide us, LOCAL BANDS, with the proper team. Fourth, the sound supplier was really just INCOMPETENT. Their people couldnt figure out why we had no monitors, took them a long time to make things work and were even impatient. Dont get me wrong, we are very grateful that we were able to perform yesterday and the crowd was amazingly supportive. However, if this kind of system will continue, I doubt that local acts would be giddy to participate in events like this. Am glad that there are people who took notice of how things were. No hard feelings folks, just ranting. Let this be a lesson to everyone and hopefully, things will be better. :) #WanderlandMusicFest
