2014 King Of The Rock Championship This is an update of the points after 2 of 6 races. Race # 3 coming up on Feb 1st is a very important race as we reach the halfway point in the chase for our track championship! This race is an all important double points race and could prove to be the pivot point in the season championship. The King Of The Rack championship is a very competitive track championship which features some of the best drivers in the country pitted against arguably the best group iof local racers in the region. The KOR title is decided by the driver who scores the most points in one of these five classes provided the class maintains a 10 kart average. The points system rewards winning and not much else, it is critical to be in the top five each race. With a scoring system that rewards the winner with 10 points + 1 bonus it is a must to win races. Positions 2 thru 10 drop in 1 point intervals with 10 thru 25 each receiving 1 point. Each of these classes offers a custom race leather race jacket and a ticket to the 2014 Maxxis Nationals. You will also be entered in a drawing for a new kart at the end of the season. The King Of The Rock Championship is a fun local track championship that is fast paced and competitive.
