2014 #LAFilmFest movies Ive posted capsule reviews and/or interviews and/or Q&A pics for so far: NIGHTINGALE, MAN FROM RENO, RUNOFF, THE YOUNG KIESLOWSKI, THE WELL, THE EVER AFTER, FRANK. I also posted interviews + Q&A pics for BOYHOOD, which I saw while I was in LA, but it wasnt part of the festival. Id missed it at Sundance and SXSW so I cant actually include it in any particular festival Top Picks list, but it WILL be eligible for my year-end list since I do include festival films I saw outside of the festivals. Similarly, I did see EARTH TO ECHO and enjoyed it but, even though it was at #LAFilmFest, I put it in the category of theatrical previews since its coming out in just a few days from a major (albeit non-studio) distributor (which bought it from Disney)...so its not eligible for my festival list. I do highly recommend it, though.
