2014 Scholarship Eligibility Requirements - All scholarship applications and school acceptance letters must be submitted by June 1, 2014. - All scholarship essays must be emailed and received by June 1, - All Scholarships essays are to be written on the topic listed below. - All Scholarship recipients must be present at the June Executive Board meeting. - If a recipient cannot attend the June Executive Board meeting, they must notify the union in advance. - Any scholarship essay hand delivered, not emailed, will be disqualified. - Scholarships are for active member’s children only. There will be no exceptions to the above requirements Essay Topics: Write an essay on one of the prominent labor personalities listed below. The essay must be at least five hundred (500) words in length, and must be entirely written by the applicant.
